This week was fully dedicated to the new clip production and visiting various doctors!
Project 365 of 2017: Days 85–91. Making a new clip and a new student
I love these early mornings. You get up, eat and then go into the great wide open. Streets are empty and cold. It’s too early for workers and their cars. Underground is not overcrowded yet. There’s a quiet street near my work. It’s a bad idea to translate toponyms, but “The Broken Street” is worth translating. I often walk there alone.
Today we had a traditional body check on my work. This is a pretty useless event. Doctors are more concerned about filling in all papers rather than checking your health and dealing with appointments. It took two or three hours to visit all the required cabinets and to pass the tests. Later this evening I had the first lesson with my new guitar student. We both attended our digital painting classes. Also, we sing together from time to time. And now she is my student. I’m very excited about upcoming lessons because she seems to be really interested in gaining some skills in guitar playing.
Today I began to create a video clip that we filmed earlier. It’s extremely sad, but it seems that my software can’t handle a full HD long clips, so I need to find something else.
Met with my brother. Showed him raw video clip materials. Nothing special.
I spent the first half of this day in the hospital. It’s my traditional procedures… Then I came home and finished my new video clip! Hope you like it.
Another doctoring day… Nothing special, just a routine appointments and a waste of time. But these things can’t be avoided. Then we met with my student again and practised for two hours. Today she brought her own guitar with nylon strings, and we tried to install the new set of strings onto it. I have never done this before, but it turned out to be a quite easy task. Actually, I’ve never played on the classical guitar for a long time at all. I prefer metal strings as they sound bright and sharp. Now we are learning basic chords progressions and hand positioning. It’s very important to learn these basic things right!
Spent a day at home doing my scheduled website job. I’m still in the process of upgrading old posts with pictures. It takes a lot of time and patience! Also, I’ve noticed that my tags are really a mess. I should somehow fix them for better navigation purposes.
